Communication Education (in campus access only)
Communication Education is a peer-reviewed publication of the National Communication Association. Communication Education publishes original scholarship that advances understanding of the role of communication in the teaching and learning process in diverse spaces, structures, and interactions, within and outside of academia. Communication Education welcomes scholarship from diverse perspectives and methodologies, including quantitative, qualitative, and critical/textual approaches. All submissions must be methodologically rigorous and theoretically grounded and geared toward advancing knowledge production in communication, teaching, and learning.
Areas covered include solid and structural mechanics, fluid mechanics and fluid-structure interactions, free-surface and two-fluid flows, aerodynamics, biomechanics and mechanics in medicine, multiphysics, fracture mechanics and structural integrity, multiscale mechanics, particle and meshfree methods, and nanomechanics and nanomaterials.
Continuum Mechanics & Thermodynamics
Continuum Mechanics and Thermodynamics is an interdisciplinary journal exploring new ideas in continuum and quasi-continuum modeling of systems with a large number of degrees of freedom and sufficient complexity to require thermodynamic closure.
Distributed and Parallel Database
Distributed and parallel database technology has been the subject of intense research and development effort. Numerous practical application and commercial products that exploit this technology also exist. Since the mid-1990s, web-based information management has used distributed and/or parallel data management to replace their centralized cousins. The maturation of the field, together with the new issues that are raised by the changes in the underlying technology, requires a central focus for work in the area. Distributed and Parallel Databases provides such a focus for the presentation and dissemination of new research results, systems development efforts, and user experiences in distributed and parallel database systems.
The characteristics and potential of e-manufacturing are presented with a number of application examples developed by the authors’ research group. The advances in e-manufacturing and applications are also highlighted and critically reviewed. The paper concludes with a further discussion on the promises and impact of e-manufacturing technology and philosophy on modern manufacturing industry and the practices.
Fatigue and Fracture of Engineering Materials and Structures (in campus access only)
Fatigue & Fracture of Engineering Materials & Structures (FFEMS) encompasses the broad topic of structural integrity which is founded on the mechanics of fatigue and fracture, and is concerned with the reliability and effectiveness of structural components of any scale, geometry or material.
Foundations And Trends In Entrepreneurship
Each issue of Foundations and Trends® in Entrepreneurship comprises a 50-100 page monograph written by research leaders in the field. Monographs that give tutorial coverage of subjects, research retrospectives as well as survey papers that offer state-of-the-art reviews fall within the scope of the journal.

International Journal of High Speed Electronics and Systems (in campus access only)
Launched in 1990, the International Journal of High Speed Electronics and Systems (IJHSES) has served graduate students and those in R&D, managerial and marketing positions by giving state-of-the-art data, and the latest research trends. Its main charter is to promote engineering education by advancing interdisciplinary science between electronics and systems and to explore high speed technology in photonics and electronics. IJHSES, a quarterly journal, continues to feature a broad coverage of topics relating to high speed or high performance devices, circuits and systems.
International Journal of Humanoid Robotics (in campus access only)
The International Journal of Humanoid Robotics (IJHR) covers all subjects on the mind and body of humanoid robots. It is dedicated to advancing new theories, new techniques, and new implementations contributing to the successful achievement of future robots which not only imitate human beings, but also serve human beings. While IJHR encourages the contribution of original papers which are solidly grounded on proven theories or experimental procedures, the journal also encourages the contribution of innovative papers which venture into the new, frontier areas in robotics. Such papers need not necessarily demonstrate, in the early stages of research and development, the full potential of new findings on a physical or virtual robot.
