Membership is divided into two categories:

1. Permanent Membership

    a. All UTeM staff and student are library members.

    b. Members are advised to check the status of their membership at the library.

2. External Membership

    a. External member are NOT permanent members.

    b. Membership and fees are on a yearly basis.

    c. External membership is divided into 2 categories:

• Reference Membership: Library membership which allows members to refer to printed material, media collection and online databases in the library.
• Borrowing Membership: Library membership which allows members to refer to printed material, media collection and online database in the library. Members are also allowed to borrow material from the library collection except for material from the reference collection.
