SIR (Serambi Ilmu Rakyat)
- SIR (Serambi Ilmu Rakyat) is a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) project by Yayasan Bank Rakyat (YBR), provided in the form of the Bank Rakyat Digital Library, based on a concept of 80% digital and 20% physical resources.
- Over 100,000 digital collections are accessible through six databases - Emerald, Overdrive (digital books and magazines), eLaw, BERNAMA Library and Infolink Service (BLIS), Rating Agency Malaysia (RAM), and PressReader - covering eBooks, eCases, eMagazines, and eNewspapers.
- SIR Corner is accessible 24 hours a day at Level 2 of the Main Library and is equipped with a set of furniture and two computer units.

Special User Facilities
- Library strives to provide fair access to all users including those with temporary or permanent disabilities to library services and resources. We have put together the best environment in the library to make it easier for disabled users to use the library services.

- The Library provides Self Check Machines for borrowing library books.
- To avoid queuing up at our circulation counter for borrowing or return, try our Self Check Machine located near One Stop Centre library!

Book Drop Machine
- Book Drop Machine operates 24 hours a day.
- Users can used this facility to return books at any time and their records will be automatically updated.

- Spacious reading area is available for users for 24 hours

Locker
- Provides at Technology Campus library only
- The rental rates are RM6.00 / semester
- Fines:
- 50 cents per day for the late return of keys.
- Loss of keychain : RM5.00
- Loss of key : RM15.00
- Request for rental can be made at the Circulation Counter.

- Provides information regarding UTeM Chancellor.

- Users can use this area for recreational activities.

- Can accommodate 48 users at one time.
- Reservation can be made through e-Calendar.

- Can accommodate 80 users at one time.

- Can accommodate 5-8 users in one room.
- 2 hours per use.

Seminar Room
- Can accommodate 30 users at one time.

- Only available at Main Campus library.
- Request can be made at Circulation Counter.

Smart Room
- Can accommodate 20 users at one time.
- Reservation can be made through e-Calendar.
- For classes, trainings, courses etc.

Printing Area
- Users need to reload their Cyber Printing Account at One Stop Center Counter.
- Self-service.

Scanning Area
- Fujitsu provides scanning service at this corner.
- Service is free for library users.

ICT Zone
- All computers are equipped with internet connection for students’ use.

OPAC
- Web OPAC PCs are provided for users as a gateway to search the library collections.

Games Zone
- Three (3) PlayStation4 sets are available at the Main Campus library.
- Two (2) PlayStation4 sets are available at the Technology Campus Library.
- PlayStation 4 rental information:
- RM4.00 per hour for two (2) controllers.
- Maximum usage period per user – Monday to Friday (2 hours).
- Users are allowed to bring their own CD games, but they must be checked by the staff before use.
